It was great to meet so many fellow pug-lovers at this party held in nearby Mundelein, Illinois. Kerstin had discovered the Northern Illinois Pug Rescue & Adoption (NIPRA) website awhile back and has stayed in touch with the folks who run the group.

I brought my little 3.2 MP camera with me, originally just to take a few pix of our Riptyde interacting with other pugs. Well, as a college journalism major and former professional photographer, I know a good story when I see one. So, despite not having my best camera with me, I decided to cover this event for NIPRA.

Prints are available at a modest cost to anyone interested. I am not looking for any glory or big money on this deal -- just trying to be of service to a most worthy organization.
